My last semester in college I decided to compete in the biggest loser competition which consisted of waking up before the sun was up to exercise with my team mates twice a week and have weekly competitions against the opposing team. although tough it was totally worth it and great fun. at the end of the competition I was interview by the Orlando Sentinel, (link provided) I was ready to show off my new slimmer figure.
Its been about a year since this competition and still remember what I learned from those sessions, I've joined a new group here in commerce Texas called shed and shred. Its a twice a week group exercise program hosted my the university. So far I can feel that I am stronger and I have been sleeping better, which is a big plus. I hope to continue on my fitness journey exploring new recipes, exercise routines and of course weight loss
