I have relocated back to Florida and have had three weeks adjusting to the differences in policies, sales cycles, and stores in the area. By far, Couponing here in Florida is much better than Texas...especially since the tax on items is only 6.5%; In texas is was 8.5%.
What I also like about Florida is that there are many big cities where stores are relatively close by. In Texas, I lived in a small city where I had to drive 30 minutes to get to a CVS or Walgreen's and a little over an hour to get to Kroger (which is kind of like the Publix of Texas), they always had the beast deals. The was a Walmart and a Brookshire's in my town, but the deals weren't really there.
In the past three weeks I was able to buy over $220 worth of goods for only$60!
