Since I was little I loved chocolate and cookies and sweets. My mom often tells a story about me that when I was a little girl, visiting a relatives house, I used to hide underneath the dining table and eat sugar! How crazy is that! Now I have alternatives like stevia that I use, but my sweet tooth is still alive and well. There are two things that I cannot substitute; Oreo's and Danish Cookies! I let myself indulge in these cookies about once a year around my birthday. Danish cookies are just awesome in all their butteryness and Oreo's just melt in your mouth. I prefer to dunk my Oreo's, but hate it when my finger gets wet from the milk, or worse, my cookie falls into the cup! Anyway, I digress. I think I was a pastry chef in a past life. I get so excited when I bake it's scientific! With much trial and error, I've developed skills to identify what went wrong or what went totally right. I've developed some recipes and am thinking of opening up a bake shop. i am hesitant because I haven't figured out how to single out my chocolate chip cookies from anyone else amazing chocolate chip cookies. It's a battle, but It will happen. In the past I have sent some sampling to my family and they loved it, so I will continue sampling!
